| INTRODUCTION: The South American country Chile now boasts a life expectancy of over 80 years. As a consequence, Chile now faces the increasing social and economic burden of cancer and must implement political policy to deliver equitable cancer care. Hindering the development of a national cancer policy is the lack of comprehensive analysis of cancer infrastructure and economic impact. OBJECTIVES: Evaluate existing cancer policy, the extent of national investigation and the socio-economic impact of cancer to deliver guidelines for the framing of an equitable national cancer policy. | Taking Dalu Town, Bishan County, Chongqing as an example, general characteristics of peasants’ awareness of land property rights, as well as its differences at different ages, education degree and income level are discussed, according to the questionnaire survey on peasants’ awareness of land property rights in 14 villages. Four suggestions are put forward to improve the property right system, such as adhering to the reform direction of collective ownership, defining the owner of the collective, giving the complete ownership power to the owner, and ensuring the usufructuary right of land for peasants. | Technical investigation on the method and constraints on cashew nuts processing in Enugu state of Nigeria was carried out and a survey made involving the use of questionnaire and personal interview during the field trips. The aim was to technically investigate the difficulties encounter in cashew nuts processing in Enugu State and suggest the means of improving on the difficulties. The manual and mechanical methods of processing cashew nuts were investigated. From the result of the survey, it was found that majority of cashew nuts processors visited processed the nuts by manual means and only few were processing mechanically.
